Live Lidar Mapping.

This in-progress project leverages the built-in LiDAR sensor on the iPhone to map offensive and defensive linemen in live football settings. The app captures spatial data in real time to track key positional metrics — such as foot spacing, leverage, and movement off the line — frame by frame. Designed to bring next-gen analytics to the trenches, this tool is still in development but shows promise in making advanced line play analysis more accessible and affordable.

Motion Tracking with Speed Estimation.

This experimental app uses standard smartphone video footage to track skeletal movement and estimate a person’s running speed — no wearables or special hardware required. By applying pose estimation and motion analysis, the goal is to make performance tracking more accessible for everyday athletes and coaches. The app is still a work in progress, but early testing — featuring my 10-year-old daughter sprinting across the yard (because she loves to run) — has shown promising results.
