About Me

I’m a lifelong sports enthusiast who turned passion into profession. With a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Production from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Arkansas State University, I’ve built a career at the intersection of sports, media, technology, and data.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: on-field video and recruiting coordinator, sports data analyst, content strategist, and product manager in the sports tech space. My experience spans multiple states and multiple sports, from football and baseball to soccer and beyond. Whether it is helping athletes get noticed through highlight reels, building data pipelines to break down game film, or supporting large-scale streaming operations for live events, I bring a versatile skill set and a coach’s mindset to every role I take on.

Data has always been at the center of my work. I specialize in transforming raw information into clear insights that drive smarter decisions, whether that is analyzing play-by-play data to uncover performance trends, building dashboards to track fan engagement, or developing metrics that connect marketing and product. My approach blends technical fluency with storytelling, making complex results accessible and actionable for coaches, executives, and fans.

In recent years, I have expanded this foundation by leveraging AI to design smarter workflows and create custom tools. From predictive simulations to automated reporting systems, I use AI not just as a buzzword but as a practical way to solve problems, improve efficiency, and reveal opportunities hidden in the numbers.

At my core, I believe in using data and technology to elevate the game for athletes, teams, and fans alike.

Work Experience

I’ve had the opportunity to work at the forefront of sports media and technology with industry leaders like Fox Sports Broadcasting, Amazon Prime Video Live Sports, and Stats Perform. At Fox, I supported live broadcasts with a focus on precision and timing. At Amazon, I helped manage large-scale streaming operations for Thursday Night Football, ensuring a seamless viewing experience for millions. And at Stats Perform, I contributed to data-driven tools that supported team performance and scouting — blending real-time insights with long-term strategy.

Spare Time Projects

I’m the type of person who doesn’t stop building when the workday ends. Whether it’s a computer vision tool to analyze bubble hockey goals or an MLB Analysis Dashboard to simulate full games pitch by pitch, I love using my skills to create tools that blend data, sports, and storytelling. These projects keep me sharp, fuel my curiosity, and often help me uncover new ideas I later bring into my professional work. Every spare-time build is another chance to explore the “what ifs” of sports technology.

Personal Life

Off the clock, I’m still a team guy. I volunteer as a youth soccer coach, ski with my kids in the winter, and try not to miss a game when my favorite teams are playing. Whether on the field or on the slopes, I value shared experiences, growth, and a little bit of fun competition. Sports have shaped who I am — as a father, a coach, and a human. That same clubhouse-guy spirit follows me into everything I do: bring energy, show up for the team, and make the experience better for everyone around me.
